Markforged adds new composite and metal materials

Markforged has steadily been releasing new materials for their Metal X and X-Series 3D printers with Inconel 625 and D2 Tool Steel being added for metal and Onyx FR for the X7 3D printer.

In terms of metal 3D printing, Markforged initially released 17-4 PH Stainless Steel with their Metal X system then added H13 and A2 Tool Steel and adding Inconel 625 and D2 extends the material selections.

Markforged also expects to release Grade 5 Titanium and Copper shortly making it one of the best selections of materials for a metal 3D printer and being based on ADAM technology, swapping materials is as easy as swapping filaments like a FDM 3D printer.
