Overview
Imaginit Utilities for Vault Server and Vault Client are a set of productivity tools for Vault administrators and users.
Choose Utilities for Vault Server to manage adminstration tasks such as back-ups, permissions, configurations and changes.
Choose Utilities for Vault Client to automate deliverables, extract BOM data and manage folders and properties.

Help document your Vault Configuration information by exporting Properties, Categories, Lifecycles, and more into a spreadsheet.
Subscribe to Changes on Folders
Get a daily or weekly summary of the changes that happened within a given area of the Vault.
Vault Command Line Tool
Enables command-line scripting of many Vault operations.
Vault Backup
Allows you to support scheduled defragmentation and to automatically schedule, execute, and report information on your backups. Get email notifications of both completed and incomplete backups with extensive detail.
Vault Publisher
Publish only released versions of items or file drawings to folders of your choice. Schedule your publishing or do it on-demand. Expand the ability to publish released versions of items or files to select folders with the support of new file types.
Vault Security Tool
Audit your Vault security with reports about users, groups, administrative privileges, custom roles, and folder security. The Lifecycle Security audit report – provides the ability to document permissions on Lifecycle States and Lifecycle State Transitions.
Vault Metadata
Import and export data from a spreadsheet, like descriptions or part number changes. Allows for updates to Categories, Revision Schemes, Revisions, Lifecycle Definitions, and Lifecycle States from Microsoft Excel.
Job Queue Tools Service
Windows Service which monitors your job processor provides daily job status summaries and alerts the administrator if common problems occur, including:
– The machine not being logged in
– Job processor application not running
– Jobs “backing up” in the job queue

Automated STEP File Creation
Create STEP files on-demand or automatically tie them to a lifecycle transition.
Update Folder from Template
Easily update your project templates to match a new set of folders, access control lists, and more.
IMAGINiT Utility Admin
Allows administrators to choose which utilities are shown and made available to users.
Link Generator
Retrieve URL links to the Vault Thin Client for selected files or items, making it easy to send information to others.
Auto-Update Folder Properties to File Properties
Quickly synchronize properties applied at the folder level to corresponding properties at the file level.
Create Local Folders
Create folders in the Vault working folder hierarchy to match the Vault folders.
Visual Lifecycle Tab
Provide a visual description of the current file’s lifecycle definition, including its current state as well as the available transitions to other states.
Standard Folders
Enables the administrator to configure folders of standards that are updated whenever someone logs into Vault. Provides support for Administrative-only templates (when creating folders from templates) and for forcing a get-latest on individual folders.

Extract Bill of Materials
Create a BOM within Vault, based on your CAD data and export to Excel or CSV.
Create PDF/DWG/DXF
Generate PDFs from Inventor IDW and DWG files at the press of a button using the Job Processor. The PDFs can be stored in the Vault or published to an external folder. If you require additional automation, Utilities for Vault Client can also auto-generate jobs based on key lifecycle events (for example, releasing a file). PDFs can be created either on-demand or automatically as product lifecycles change. Includes new job types for making DWG and DXF files from IDW files and provides support for publishing PDFs on lifecycle changes outside of the Vault.
